All Of The Ladies

April 2, 2014 § 4 Comments

A couple of weeks ago I recieved a package in the mail from a man in the US who had contacted me via email to see if I would be willing to take a load of vintage postcards off his hands. Not quite sure what to expect, but never one to say no to freebies I gave him my address and a week later was unwrapping (with exclamation after exclamation) a giant bounty of the most incredible late 1800’s – 1920’s postcards I have ever seen! Half were well done copies and the rest are originals.

I also received some cds with digital copies of postcards I have yet to see (the only time I begrudge owning a laptop without a cd drive). These are just a sample of the bunch, and I am still discovering new favourites every day. I think I need to get a beautiful old photo album to store them in.

Aren’t they absolutely magic? Big thanks to Charles, if you’re reading this, you made a gal’s day.
