Vintage fabric hair flowers – gifted to me

On the long weekend just past, Jesse and I visited the Royal Botanical Gardens to wander about in the sun before heading to check out the Melbourne Now exhibition. As my fourth year anniversary of living in Melbourne just passed, I kicked myself for not having visited this utopia more often. The gardens are so massive that I could spend days exploring, had my trusty red shoes not begun to torture my hooves.  This gorgeous rose garden (which smelt SO sweet) is actually just on the outskirts of the Gardens, where I got caught up in the blooms and Jesse had to drag me away (not before pocketing some petals).

We took many more photos in the gardens which I’ll post in the coming week, instead of overloading you now with greenhouses, secret ponds and forest walks.
