Introducing Busby Berkeley!
July 2, 2013 § 10 Comments
To those of you who follow me on Instagram (or any other social media in fact) you will be well aware of the fact that on Saturday I brought home my new best mate… Busby Berkeley the Beagle!!! I don’t think I can stress enough how this is/he is the BEST THING in the whole wide world! Seriously though, sorry to all those who follow me on Instagram for the pooch spam, but he is the most gentle, well-behaved, funny, adoring, cute, lovely, regal babe magnet I have ever met.
We adopted him from Save A Dog in Malvern, and weren’t necessarily planning on coming home with a dog, but Busby just melted our hearts and we had to have him. He’s 5 years old, Beagle cross (so not as bulky as a full beagle) and a quiet little stunner. His name was already Buzby, so a simple change of ‘z’ to an ‘s’ and he instantly had my dream pet name (fate, or what?). I strongly recommend to anyone looking to get a pet to adopt, it feels so rewarding watching how happy they are when you bring them home.
He’s become quite the Fitz-royalty, already a hit at Piedimonte’s, a regular at Grace cafe and top dog at Edinburgh Gardens. I am succcchhh a proud mum, and I can’t believe that in such a short space of time I’ve become one of those people who are obsessed with their dogs. But honestly, whatta dreamboat!!
Today we had a one-on-one day together, complete with his first photo shoot (Busby loves the camera), lunch date with a friend, run in the park and a bath.
